Michele’s Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Breasts, cubed and cooked

  • 1 cup Rice, cooked

  • 1 cup Celery, chopped

  • 1 small can Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 cup Onion, chopped

  • 4 Tbsp Butter

  • 1 cup Corn Flakes

  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare a large casserole dish by greasing the bottom and sides.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cooked cubed chicken, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, and chopped onion.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • While baking, prepared the topping by melting the butter and mixing in the Corn Flakes and chopped nuts, crushing the Corn Flakes while mixing.
  • In the last 10 minutes of baking, top the casserole with the prepared topping.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
